I can't WAIT for him to be back on.. I just can't wait !!!

I watch the old clips and it reminds me of where I was at that time.. so many memories.

While you are at it, please remember this is Jane Elliot's 30th anniversary year as well. I realize this board has a certain 'preference' for one of Luke's wives over the other, but be that as it may, Jane/Tony both deserve to have their accomplishements celebrated. I can't imagine this show without either of them.

We respect her as an actress and someone who Tony loves to work with.

As for "preference" Luke and Laura are the "iconic supercouple" and should stay that way. I like Tony and Jane working together but in the end it should be Luke and Laura. I can't imagine it any other way for me.

That's all well and good and it's your board, but I'm here to celebrate Tony Geary and his entire career with General Hospital - not just early years and one pairing.

We're all excited to see his return and see what happens. I hope it is as good as Guza promises this time around. It will be a wonderful way to celebrate the 30th anniversaries of many of our beloved vets if they really do focus on the Luke/Tracy/Laura/Scott story.

I hope they do justice to all the vets as well! After losing such vets as Stuart Damon, they need to take a hard look at saving their historical families and characters.

I too, celebrate Tony's entire career on GH including his stint as Bill Eckert, although not a character I personally liked very much. Tony is a diverse actor and proves that in his comedic stuff as well as the dramatic.

Luke has had many pairings over the years with characters such as Holly, Connie, Tammy, Felicia and some I liked and some I didn't care for. I like Tony with Jane but in the long term, Luke belongs with Laura. I think if it ends any other way, it will be a big disappointment for many- not just me. That is no slight against Jane, it might be that way if she had the same kind of history with Luke or she was the part of some supercouple.

They're cute - there's a funny, playful banter betwen the two, but the sparks are just not there - the looks between Luke and Laura are priceless and FOREVER!! Love my man, love my girl Laura - want to see them together again like crazy!! Can't wait!

I love the love that people have on this board for Tony, and also Genie. I am a proud supporter of getting her back to the show, full time so they can be together again. It may not happen in all reality but we can still hope. As for you Vicky, the web page redesign is absolutly wonderful. I can see you put your heart and soul into it. I could not agree more. Luke's flings with other ladies, are just that, "flings". Luke's true love will always be Laura. I hope Genie comes back and they put the super couple together as they should be. I can't wait for Tony to come back...is it this week?

I agree that Tony has had many successful character pairings, but those of us who have been with him since the beginning always keep that little hope in our hearts of Luke & Laura together. I'm sure we wouldn't want it so bad if they didn't seem to keep losing each other, but be that as it may, I too cannot imagine the ending of the Luke character without Laura. It's more than just a supercouple thing; it's a connection that these 2 actors have that create a spark which is non-existent in other soap couples.
